Tough Day Homeschooling in Surrey, BC
Tough day homeschooling. Seemed like the kids were deliberately zoning out .. or was I too impatient? I went for a walk later to sort it out. After I unloaded to God, I feel like He told me to start out tomorrow with a walk with the kids. Let them get some air, and have happy interactions with them, to start the day off right. Of course there are going to be times when I have to discipline them, but maybe if I entice them with a dollar store prize for getting 10 points that will help brighten the day. We learned an incredible amount about honey bees today! I almost wrote down bumble bees, but I even learned that bumble bees and honey bees are not the same thing! The toughest part of the day was math. Hopefully it will go easier tomorrow….
Tom Boy
First official baseball game today of the season today for my two! Son (7) is doing great again and I am so blessed to find I have a daughter (5) who not only loves to play the princess role, but can swing hard, throw far, fall down, get dirty and play the tom boy!

Final Mixes Done: A Most Excellent Day!
Did the final mixes, then had to revisit 4 songs! Ok now mixes are done, tomorrow mastering, then send it off to the pressing plant! Wasn’t this a most excellent day? I am learning how to clear things off my calendar….learning to just “be” but I really have to train myself to STOP!
I swear I used to be able to sit and do nothing a lot better when I was a teenager…..but I don’t just want to veg out in front of a tv; I want to enjoy the people in my life! Do you know what I mean?
How Would You Live The Last Day Of Your Life?
If this was the last day of your life, what would you do that was most important? That is how I want to live my life everyday! No more burnout! I heard somewhere lately that if you are suffering from burnout, then some of the things you are pursuing are not in God’s will!
Because if God wants you to do something, He will give you the strength to do it. How I just want to be in God’s will and turn off all the other craziness…..peace peace peace peace peace!
Focus Is A Good Thing
Just mixing down the guitars on the second to last mixdown! Ever notice on a huge undertaking that you get more anxious near the end! It’s hard to stay focused on the rest of your life! Oh well, patience patience! I do promise this will be worth waiting for (Random Bursts of Joy CD).
Another Night of Recording
Another night of recording – this time editing vocals on the first song that will be on the new CD, yes I have actually figured out an order for the songs already and as it turns out, the song that is going to be first is the last to be finished! Getting close to wrapping up this part of the race that is set before me. Of course because I am near the end I came across an attack that could have really set me back over the weekend…but I will fight the good fight of faith and keep pressing in! As long as God is in it, and I don’t give up, I will accomplish with excellence! I want to thank all my good friends for all your love and support. You rock!
